The New York Yankees have re-signed Freddy Garcia to a 1 year deal worth $5m. The Good Guys bring back the Dipsy Doodler who went 12-8 with a 3.62 ERA and 2.2 WAR (FanGraphs) in 146+ innings. Does this mean that the Yankees are done looking for pitching this offseason? Probably not. But it does mean that Brian Cashman can now start saying that the Pinstripers are perfectly happy starting the 2012 season with what we have… CC Nova AJ Hughes Garcia. That’s five starters, by my count.
